How to use Edit PDF
- Open your PDF. The first page appears below the toolbar.
- Choose Text, Whiteout or Draw. For text, click where it should appear and type. For Whiteout or Draw, drag on the page.
- Change colour or text size in the toolbar. Use Undo if you make a mistake and the arrows to change page.
- Press Download PDF to save your edited file.
Good to know
This editor is meant for quick jobs: filling in a form field, adding a date or name, covering a small detail, or marking a page. It works page by page and saves a new copy, so your original file is never changed.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit the existing text of the PDF?
No. You can add new text, cover an area with a white box and draw over the page. Changing the original text of a PDF needs a full desktop editor.
Does it support Urdu or other languages?
Added text currently supports English letters, numbers and common symbols only.
Is the edited file private?
Yes. Everything happens in your browser and the file is not uploaded to any server.
